When we closed on the 25th September it was our intention to retire and, as you can imagine from all the wonderful messages we received, it was with a heavy heart.

However, as life has a habit of getting in the way and changing plans, our sale fell through and we decided to remain here doing what we love. Not entirely, though. Unfortunately, the planning and fulfilment of the evening meals has become too much and so we did, in essence, come to the end of an era.

As from April 2023 we are launching Hayes Barton Bed and Breakfast, offering the same standards of quality and excellence as we have for the last 21 years. We will continue to serve great food, catering for all diets as before and doing our best to make your holiday special.

I can’t quite say “here’s to the next 21 years” but we’ll stay for as long as possible.
