We offer great food and hospitality, ensuring that your stay on the Isle of Wight will be truly memorable. All our meals are home made and we have been awarded an AA Dinner Award every year since 2007. Currently, only two establishments on the Isle of Wight have gained this prestigious and coveted Award. It is awarded "in recognition of a very special, high quality dinner, with emphasis on freshly prepared local ingredients". As all our meals are freshly made every day we are able to cater for various diets including gluten free and lactose intolerant. We also offer a variety of tasty vegetarian meals - not just vegetable lasagne and mushroom stroganoff!

Homemade Bread of the Day

Cream of Celery Soup

Fruit Juice – Orange, Grapefruit or Apple.

Twice Baked Cheese Souffle

Cheese soufflé, baked once and then baked again just before serving.

Poached Breast of Chicken

Breast of chicken lightly poached in chicken stock and white wine with tarragon, crème fraiche and lemon zest, served with courgette and carrot ribbons

Grilled Pork Chop

Isle of Wight pork chop, chargrilled and served with gravy and apple sauce

Luxury Fish Pie

A mixture of diced cod, salmon and prawns covered in a white sauce and topped with mashed potatoes
Main course served with potatoes of the day and a selection of fresh vegetables or a mixed side salad.

Apple Tart

A crisp pastry base filled with pureed Bramley apples and topped with sliced dessert apples, baked in the oven and served with custard, ice cream or fresh cream.

Chocolate Profiteroles

Light choux buns filled with whipped cream and topped with chocolate sauce.

Tea or Coffee served with chocolates

Vegetarian dishes are always available. All choices on the menu are gluten free and homemade.

Our menus change daily and we are happy to cater for all dietary requirements. As everything is home made, separate versions can be made if you are allergic to specific foods, eg garlic, onion etc.

We also offer gluten free biscuits in the rooms and we can provide locally sourced gluten free sausages at breakfast time as well as using separate toasters and utensils.
