Trading Terms
A non-refundable 25% deposit per person is required to secure your reservation. A 75% cancellation fee of the total cost is due should you cancel your holiday within two weeks of your arrival date. We advise guests to take out insurance cover should unforeseen circumstances cause late cancellation. Details of reasonably priced cover offered by Travellers Protection Services can be enclosed with your Letter of Acknowledgement if requested. Please note - cancellation charges are always applied. However, we would be pleased to set off the cancellation fee should you be able to book another holiday within the 2008 Summer Season, subject to availability, The rate for the re-arranged date would apply.
Check in Times
Bedrooms are ready by 1.00 pm. However, we are happy to accept guests checking in from 10.00 am onwards. If the bedroom is not ready for occupation we will store your luggage in a secure area until it is ready.
Evening Meal
All our meals are freshly made allowing us to cater for any special dietary requirements. We are gaining an excellent reputation for our home cooking with some repeat guests even asking in advance for a favourite dish to appear on the menu during their stay. As the menu is seldom repeated, to facilitate the preparation of your first evening meal we will telephone or email you in advance, usually the day before, to go through the menu and take your dinner order. This also allows us to establish any particular likes or dislikes. Important - if you are planning to start your journey a day or two before arriving with us, could you please contact us the day before you are due to arrive to choose your first evening's meal. Thank you. The Bar generally opens at 5.30 pm and closes just after dinner at approximately 8.00 pm. There are many bars in the Old Village, just 5 minutes' walk away which offer live music or a traditional pub atmosphere. However, if you advise us in advance that you would like a nightcap, we shall be pleased to accommodate you.
