Joan & Chris Williams welcome you to their privately-owned and family-run Guest House. Hayes Barton was originally built in the early 1850's and began life as a Guest House in the 1930's. It now has nine en suite bedrooms and family suites all recently redecorated and furnished to a very high standard. Hayes Barton is a true home from home in a quiet area of Shanklin.
FANTASTIC LOCATION: Only 5 minutes' walk from the Old Village and 15 minutes from the beach and promenade. We are close to a beautiful park with a well kept Children's play area and woodland walks which will take you straight on to Shanklin Downs. Excellent if you are visiting with your dog and want to leave the car in our car park or to take advantage of the miles of Coastal walks just a footstep away from the front door.
RELAXING: We offer great food and hospitality, ensuring that your stay on the Isle of Wight will be truly memorable. All our meals are home made and have been awarded an AA "Red Pie" Award. Only two establishments on the Isle of Wight have gained this prestigious and coveted Award. It recognises that the meals we offer are above the standard of an AA Four Star Award Guest House. We are also featured in the AA "500 Best B&B's" Guide.

GUEST LOYALTY DISCOUNT: We appreciate the loyalty guests have shown to us and would like, by way of thanks, to offer a 5% discount on all holidays taken between the 1 March and 29 October 2010, excluding car ferry and drinks, to any guest who has previously stayed with us.
SAMPLE MENU: Our menus change daily and shown on the left hand column is Friday evening's menu. We can cater for all dietary requirements and, as everything is home made, separate versions can be made if you are allergic to specific foods, eg garlic, onion etc. We also serve Tea or Coffee with Petit Fours either in the Lounge or Dining Room.
